چکیده
The determinants of food prices have attracted sizeable debates among scholars over the last three decades. However, many these studies ignore possibility that impact oil on could vary across price distribution. paper employs a quantile regression technique to ascertain whether respond potential heterogeneous crude changes in six selected African net oil-exporting countries. coefficient negative shocks panel OLS model is insignificant and positive at 5% significance level. In contrast, significantly affects for chosen analysis's empirical findings highlight diverse dependence effects various ranges prices. All coefficients are non-significant all quantiles shocks, conclusion consistent with least squares estimate results. Besides, prove affect magnitude article concludes influence variations subset Africa's this study crucial policy economic implications agents stakeholders fiscal environments. As result, must make timely decisions uncertainty market.

Dating Business Cycle in Oil Exporting Countries
In this paper, we empirically investigate the relationship between oil price changes and output in a group of oil exporting countries. The dynamics of business cycles in Libya, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Kuwait, Venezuela and Qatar are modeled by alternative regime switching models. We show that the extension of uni-variate Markov Switching model in order to include oil revenue improves dating busi...

N umerous studies have been conducted about the determinants of tax evasion. In all of these studies, this phenomenon has been taken into account in the framework of balanced budget and a non-oil economy. In this study the determinants are examined by extending an endogenous growth model and considering two cases for the government budget in an oil-exporting country along with its budget d...

The oil price shocks are an important source that affect on TOT in both oil exporting and importing countries. Hence, this paper compares the effects of real oil price shock on TOT in both oil importing and exporting countries, using Panel Data technique and during 1980-2010. To the best of our knowledge, we applied the nonlinear approach in order to assess the asymmetric impact of the oil pri...
متن کاملImpacts of Oil Price Shocks on Macroeconomic Variables of Oil Exporting and Importing Countries: A Global VAR Approach
This paper investigates the effects of oil price shocks on real GDP and inflation in selected oil exporting and importing countries using the Global VAR approach. We have used the data for 47 countries over the 38 years from 1979 to 2015 in this research. We have grouped the countries into 21 regions. Our results indicate that firstly that the impact of shocks on the real GDP of oil-exporti...
